A sizable amount of energy is being put into the Air Jordan 6 this year by Jordan Brand. We’ve seen the silhouette be fashioned in various player exclusive makeups for Jordan-sponsored colleges and pop up in “UNC” and “Mint Foam” colorways as of late, and now it’s being revealed in a new palette for the summertime. The Air Jordan 6 “Red Oreo” has made its way onto our radar, and we now have a detailed on-foot look.
From a design standpoint, this forthcoming rendition leans into a simple two-toned theme. Components such as the tongues, toe boxes, laces, smooth leather overlays and the perforated collar bulges and mid-foot paneling all come fitted in all-white, allowing the accents to overtly stand out. Bold red accents appear atop the throat’s Jumpman branding, lace toggles, heel clips and midsole molds, the latter of which come decorated with white speckles which speak to its “Red Oreo” nickname. Rounding things off down below is a traditional icy blue outsole that’s marked with an oversized Jumpman logo.
